Do I receive Tripfetti when I create an account?
Yes. Once you create your free shoptravel account, $500 in Welcome Tripfetti is added to your account automatically and is available to use toward eligible bookings.
How do I earn more Tripfetti?
You can earn Earned Tripfetti on eligible bookings:
- Hotels: 2%
- Vacation Packages: 1%
You can also collect bonus Tripfetti through select events and special offers.
How do I use my Tripfetti?
Each eligible booking has its own pre-calculated maximum amount of Tripfetti that can be applied. When you search, we'll always show how much Tripfetti you'll earn and the maximum amount you can use on that booking.
During checkout, simply choose how much of your available Tripfetti you'd like to apply, up to the maximum amount shown.
Why can't I use my entire Tripfetti balance on one booking?
Each eligible booking has its own pre-calculated maximum amount of Tripfetti that can be applied. The amount varies by booking and will always be shown before you complete your purchase.
Any unused Tripfetti remains in your account for future bookings and until it expires.
How do I know how much Tripfetti I can use?
Search for your trip while signed in and we'll show you the maximum amount of Tripfetti that can be applied to each eligible booking.

How do I know how much Tripfetti I'll earn?
Your estimated Earned Tripfetti will be displayed on eligible search results and throughout the booking process.
Earned Tripfetti becomes available after you've completed your trip.
When does my Earned Tripfetti become available?
Welcome Tripfetti is available as soon as your account has been successfully created.
Earned Tripfetti is added once you've completed your eligible trip. Until then, it will appear as Pending in your account.
What's the difference between Welcome Tripfetti and Earned Tripfetti?
Welcome Tripfetti is awarded when you create your free shoptravel account and may also be offered through select events and promotions.
Earned Tripfetti is collected when you complete eligible travel booked through shoptravel.
Both are displayed together in your Tripfetti Balance.
Where can I see my Tripfetti?
Sign in to your shoptravel account to view your Available Tripfetti, Pending Tripfetti, upcoming expiries and Tripfetti Activity.
Does Tripfetti expire?
Yes. Both Welcome Tripfetti and Earned Tripfetti expire 18 months after the booking or promotion through which they were earned or awarded.
You can view upcoming expiry dates within your account.
What happens if I cancel or change my booking?
If an eligible booking is cancelled, refunded or modified, any associated Tripfetti may be adjusted, removed or returned to your account where applicable.

What These Terms Cover
Tripfetti is shoptravel's rewards program, designed to reward members for eligible travel booked through shoptravel. By participating in Tripfetti, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Who Can Participate
You must have a registered shoptravel account to participate in the Tripfetti program.
Tripfetti is linked to your individual account, cannot be transferred to another member and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Welcome Tripfetti
New members receive $500 in Welcome Tripfetti after successfully creating a free shoptravel account.
Welcome Tripfetti is automatically added to your account and may be used toward eligible bookings, subject to the redemption eligibility of each booking.
Additional Welcome Tripfetti may also be awarded through:
- Events
- Giveaways
- Referral programs
- Marketing campaigns
- Seasonal promotions
- Other special offers
Promotion-specific conditions will be communicated when Welcome Tripfetti is awarded. Welcome Tripfetti offers may be modified, suspended or withdrawn by shoptravel at any time, without prior notice.
Earned Tripfetti
Earned Tripfetti is awarded on eligible bookings made through shoptravel. Current earning rates are:
- Hotels: 2%
- Vacation Packages: 1%
Tripfetti is calculated based on the eligible booking value. Your estimated Earned Tripfetti will be displayed on eligible search results and during the booking process where applicable.
shoptravel reserves the right to update earning rates or promotional offers at any time.
When Tripfetti Is Added
Welcome Tripfetti is added after your account has been successfully created.
Earned Tripfetti is added after you've completed your eligible trip. Until then, Earned Tripfetti will appear as Pending in your account.
Once your eligible trip has been completed, your Pending Tripfetti will move to your Available Tripfetti.
Using Tripfetti
Available Tripfetti can be applied toward eligible bookings made through shoptravel.
Each eligible booking has its own pre-calculated maximum amount of Tripfetti that can be applied toward that booking. The maximum amount varies by booking and will be displayed during the search and booking process where applicable.
You may choose to apply any amount of your available Tripfetti, up to the maximum amount shown for that booking. If your available Tripfetti exceeds the maximum amount permitted for a booking, any unused Tripfetti will remain in your account until it expires.
Tripfetti has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, exchanged or transferred.
Tripfetti Balance
You can view your Available Tripfetti, Pending Tripfetti, upcoming expiries and Tripfetti Activity within your shoptravel account.
Expiry
Both Welcome Tripfetti and Earned Tripfetti expire 18 months after the booking or promotion through which they were earned or awarded.
Applicable expiry dates are available within your Tripfetti Balance. Expired Tripfetti cannot be reinstated.
Eligible Bookings
Tripfetti can only be earned and used on eligible bookings made through shoptravel. Certain products, suppliers, promotional rates or booking types may not qualify.
The amount of Tripfetti that may be earned or applied varies by booking. Eligibility and available Tripfetti amounts will be displayed during the search and booking process where applicable.
Booking Changes & Cancellations
If an eligible booking is cancelled, refunded or modified, any associated Tripfetti may be adjusted, removed or returned to your account where applicable.
If Tripfetti has been applied toward a cancelled booking, any applicable return of Tripfetti will be subject to the booking's cancellation terms.
Program Changes
shoptravel reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Tripfetti program at any time, including but not limited to:
- Earning rates
- Redemption rules
- Eligible products or bookings
- Welcome Tripfetti or other promotional offers
- Expiry rules
- Program features
- These Terms & Conditions
Changes may be made without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
